How does Bad Times AI Video pricing work?
You buy credits, and each video uses credits based on its length and quality. One Standard video, 15 seconds in 720p, uses 100 credits, so a 300-credit plan makes three. The generator shows the exact cost of your chosen length and quality before you start.
How much does one Bad Times video cost?
A 15-second Standard video costs $5.00 to $9.99, depending on the plan. Monthly, it comes to $9.99 on Starter, $8.33 on Pro and $6.00 on Studio. Yearly plans bring it down to $6.00, $5.52 and $5.00. Credit packs cost more per video but need no subscription.
Does Bad Times AI Video pricing include free credits?
Yes: every new account gets 20 free credits, enough for one Lite video of 5 seconds in 480p, covering the head grab and the first "hold on". Use it to check your photo, for example before a full Bad Times baby video (parents' own photos only). For 720p or longer clips, pick a plan or a pack.
Which length and quality should I choose?
For most people a 15-second Standard video is the best value: 100 credits, 720p, through the turn and the first lunge. Lite is the cheapest test but stops at 5 seconds. HD costs twice as much as Standard and uses a stronger model. Only Ultra makes the 30-second video, the length most viral versions use.
Am I charged if a render fails?
No. If a render fails or is filtered, the credits return to your balance and you can retry with another photo. A clear, well-lit, full-body photo of one subject works best; for a Bad Times dog video, show the whole dog. The filter turns down celebrities and public figures.
How do renewals and cancelling work?
Subscriptions renew until you cancel: monthly plans every month, yearly plans every year. A monthly plan adds its credits each billing period, valid for that period. A yearly plan adds the whole year's credits at once, valid for 12 months, so you set your own pace. Credit packs never renew.
